Rawesome is a private membership buying club and is considered by some to be the ultimate raw foods dealer in Los Angeles. They sell only raw organic foods which include dairy products, meats, fish, eggs, fruit, vegetables, dried fruits, oils, honey, and even fresh baby coconuts flown in daily from Thailand! They are also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to raw foods, whether one is on a raw food diet or not. Stacey and I are personally are not 100% raw foodists, but prefer to eat about 30% raw. I have tried three different music classes with my two kids and Music Together of Santa Monica, run by Suchi Brafman is, in my opinion, by far the best. Suchi keeps it simple with fun instruments, such as egg shakers and an auto harp, without losing the interest of the children. Not too many bells and whistles in this class, but a teacher with a solid musical background and a genuine love for children. Suchi is a true hippie leader with a folksy type voice. No need to buy packages of instruments for this class. Each 8-week session includes two CD's (one for the car, one for home) and a music booklet. Babies and toddlers alike boogie down and have a great time in her classes.
Mommy and Me yoga with Ally Hamilton, (Recommended by Megan Valnes)

This yoga class is outstanding! I can't say enough about it. All ages of children are welcome, from 1 day to well, whatever age! Also exciting is men and women without babies are welcome too. Ally provides a challenging class for any yogi in an environment not usually associated with yoga and skillfully blends the art of motherhood into the art of yoga. The focus is especially challenged and any caretaker is really confronted with the beauty of focusing the mind in the midst of chaos. Babies and children laugh and cry alike, crawl beneath you an otherwise make the world theirs, yet the yoga retains itself. Each class is gratifying both physically and emotionally.
