Megan Valnes’ experience in real estate began in 2003 when she and Stacey began attending seminars regarding the industry. In 2005 when Stacey decided to begin his own real estate brokerage firm, Megan was key in developing and administering the business. Megan worked behind the scenes, also caring for the couple’s children, until the summer of 2010 when Stacey and Megan decided it was time to partner and work side-by-side in the sales field. Megan brings a unique feminine touch to the company. As a southern California native, Megan loves the beach and city landscape and relishes the opportunity to work in a field she truly feels at home in. A born people person, Megan loves helping and working with clients. Megan also has a family bred entrepreneurial gene, taking after her mother, father, and grandparents in the pursuit of working for one’s self and owning a family business. Stacey Valnes

After chasing the Grateful Dead during and after high school and wondering what to do for work, Stacey created a car detailing business in 1995 on rollerblades. With an old can of wax, Windex bottle, a vacuum that had no suction, he set his sights high on a Suzuki motorcycle that had a towel for a seat. “Clients were not too impressed when I showed up”, Stacey remembers.
After having his fill of detailing cars in 1998, Stacey put his real estate license to work, sold his car detailing business, and began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker in Brentwood. By 2005, when Stacey created Sunset Park Realtors, he was Keller Williams #1 agent for Southern California and currently ranks as one of the top agents in the business.
Stacey’s dream is to own the Los Angeles Kings hockey club. In the event this doesn’t happen, he’s assembled his own little hockey team by having 4 kids with his favorite person, Megan Valnes. If only she would play goalie!
